Principal's Message

Welcome to Greene County Career and Technical Center where we pride ourselves in “Preparing today’s students for tomorrow’s workforce.”   We are one of the only Career Centers in the state that currently maintains a land based lab.  Located on approximately 36 acres, we maintain; a small herd of cattle, chickens, a catfish pond, blueberry orchard and muscadine vineyard.  We are proud to offer students a wide variety of programs that not only teach life skills; but, allow for on-the-job training as well as national certifications. Each of our programs has an active student organization that provides students with the opportunity to compete at local, state and national levels.  These organizations also teach the importance of volunteering, community service and leading by serving others. If your interest is in culinary, healthcare, business or law enforcement we have just the program for you.  If you are more inclined to welding, construction, engineering, forestry or agriculture you will find just the right fit here at Greene County Career and Technical Center.  We are growing and would love to have you along for the ride.
